A solo weekend means...
... eating alone (but at least I got to eat grilled cheese and tomato soup!)
... spending the day in my studio packaging orders (I love my Moo stickers!)
... making a mess in the kitchen and not having to clean it up right away. ( Mmm... banana bread.)
... lots of TV watching ( I think I've seen almost every episode of Criminal Minds. SUCH a good show.)
... being excited for Sunday because a) we've been trying out a really great new church and b) I get to actually get dressed and see people!
I always miss Chris when he's gone and I can't wait to see him tomorrow, but I have to admit that I enjoy some alone time every now and then. If only for the not doing dishes right away thing. ;)
What's your favorite thing to do when you get some alone time?
PS. Rocking the glasses this weekend since I've been wearing my contacts two months longer than I'm supposed to. Hit my face on the mirror while putting makeup on this morning. Feel free to chuckle at my expense.

I love just sitting in bed & reading. So relaxing. :) BTW, I love the combination of your finger nails & toe nails. <3
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your pictures!
ReplyDeleteAnd that nail color...so pretty! :)
my favorite things are knitting, watching tv, and not doing the dishes as well. but I'm rarely alone
ReplyDeleteI'm getting A LOT more alone time lately than usual. My husband and son are gone for 2 whole weeks! I'm 7 days into this and I fear i'm even boring the dogs. I've watched so many movies, painted my nails a thousand times and ordered way too much food. Only 7 more days.
ReplyDeleteI have 2 little girls who are 2 and 4 and alone time sounds HEAVENLY. If I had 24 hours of alone time I would sleep in, get a mani/pedi, go shopping and sit at a coffee shop/cafe and read. I haven't had alone time like that since before my oldest was born!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about the mirror incident. I work at Panera and the other day someone completely ran into the glass that surrounds the bakery case. She went in to read the calories off the cinnamon roll tag, smacked her head on the glass and even knocked her hat off her head. We all felt really bad and helped her recover but believe me, you have a long way to go on the "blindness."
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute. I love that nail polish. I've been sporting my yellow for too long and need to get a new color, was thinking a mint color. Anyway, what church are you trying out? I used to live in Hawaii, worked for a ministry there :)
ReplyDeleteOh and alone time....wandering aimlessly through target with a blueberry scone and caramel machiatto. Or just a nice hot bath, uninterrupted!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures! You need to give me some camera tips. I still can't figure out how to work mine. haha
ReplyDeleteThis week all I did was watch Criminal Mind reruns. I'm addicted. Which leads to what I do solo... couch out & watch TV & movies.
ReplyDeletei looove this outfit and those nails - swooning now. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteLOVE the outfit! You look all kinds of cute girl! I like to stay in my pajamas and read when I'm home alone. No one to dress up for & no one to pay attention to lol!
ReplyDeleteSEWING! For sure, that is my favorite thing to do when I get alone time. That and just be a complete bum around the house lol. Happy Monday! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a relaxing weekend! Those stickers are super cute. And I'm in the same boat as you...my contacts had been in for wayyyy longer than needed so I switched to glasses this weekend. And I'm so not loving it but my eyes sure do feel better! :)
ReplyDeleteMmmm your grilled cheese sandwich looks scrumptious! What kind of cheese do you use?
ReplyDeleteFor along time, I like to attempt to play the uke and guitar and sing without judgment or laughter :)
i wear my contacts too long also! and i know it's so bad to do... but wearing them for the suggested two weeks is $$$...
ReplyDeletebut you look cute in glasses! glad you enjoyed your weekend!
Solo time. You lucky girl. I think I need a day or two of that. I like to spend my solo time catching up on chick flicks, getting lost on Pinterest and reading at the coffe shop.
ReplyDeleteSounds heavenly! I'm loving your photos and your cute poses. When I get some alone time I love to grab a vanilla latte from Starbucks and do some scrapbooking. I don't see much of that kind of time though...I work full time and I have three year old twins. But when I do it is AMAZING. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your nailpolish/rings/outfit...SO cute!!
ReplyDeleteIs that coffee cake I see?!?! YUM!!!!!!
I love relaxing with a book when I'm able to get some alone time. P.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
