I'm going for lots of cozy layers this winter and hope to add some chunky cableknit sweaters to my closet. I've been practically living in leggings so far this fall, so these ($18!!) fleece lined leggings from Anthropologie will be perfect. Gray, coral and olive green is a color combo I can see myself wearing no matter the season, so many of these items would transition perfectly into spring. In my dreams, I would be wearing a fancy flared peacoat around town, but in all honesty, I'll probably end up in a puffy coat reminiscent of the kiddo in The Christmas Story (a movie I can't stand, by the way).

PS. No idea why the colors are funky in that collage. That coral sweater is not quite the eye-burning laser red color it appears to be.

Fleece lined leggings are the best!
ReplyDeleteOur fall comes later for us (south floridian here!), so I am dreaming of clothes like these! the ON cardigan is so flattering and the pop of color is super fun when the nights get darker sooner!

ReplyDeleteI'm on the look out for a long tunic type shift dress to wear with leggings and boots or maybe tights and booties to dress it up. I thought I was the only one who disliked A Christmas Story!!

ReplyDeleteI cannot stand that Christmas story movie either. I have it pretty much memorized since it comes on so much in December.
ReplyDeleteMy experience (having lived in New England my whole life) is, don't go for winter layers with short arms. 3/4 length might be cute in fall and spring, but when you're chilled to the bone, you want your layers to go as far as possible!
