it's the little things:: love notes, new 'dos & lime juice
It's aloha friday! Did your week fly by too, or was that just me? Stop looking at me like I'm crazy. Guess it was just me.
I actually had a really fabulous week. A new haircut that I slowly but surely have come to looove. Celebrating one year of being a handmade artist with cupcakes, giveaways, and my best day of sales EVER! And a yummy date night with my yummy hubby.
So, lots of big things this week. Totally feeling blessed. But lots of little things too. Here are my little things for the week.
... love notes from Chris. He doesn't write them very often, but twice recently, I've walked into my studio to find a little orange sticky note resting on my work table. So encouraging and makes me feel so loved. Up on the cork board it goes.
... playing with my new bangs. I'm having fun pulling out my hair accessories and trying new things. I'm starting to embrace the fact that this girl likes change. It can be scary sometimes, but also pretty exciting.
.. lime juice. Not the kind you are thinking of. Calamansi sweet lime juice. It's so light and sweet and delicious. And I'm a little bit addicted.
Ready to link up? I was so excited to see that we had almost 60 participants on the first linkup last week! And I was delighted to see that so many of you were commenting and meeting new friends!
Unfortunately, I had to delete a few entries that had nothing to do with the linkup-- so pleeease be courteous and linkup according to the rules. Mahalo!
party rules.
1. Only link to your specific blog post, not to your blog's main page. See here for more explanation.
2. Grab a button and/or include a link back to this post so your readers can come see what the fun is all about! You can find the code for the button on the sidebar or on the "little things" page.
3. Make sure you visit (and comment) on other posts linked up-- what fun is a party if no one talks to each other? Make some new friends!
4. I reserve the right to kick you out of the party if you aren't playing nice-- so make sure your post is relevant to this party and is actually a "little things" post (ie. no giveaways, random posts from last month, etc.).
