Last night, before we went out on our hot bowling date, I asked Chris if he liked my headband. He said something along the lines of "We're going bowling, you're allowed to look ridiculous."

I have to give him credit. He's getting much better at taking my outfit pictures. You should hear him directing me. Stand like this. That looks awkward. Smile bigger.


Last night he says " Let's get a detail shot--are you wearing a fancy belt?"

Nope.

"No fancy belt?? What about one of your big rings?"

Nope.

Hm, ok, we'll just take an awkwardly close shot of your headband.




 Ruh-roh. Gutterball.




I lost both games, by the way. In case you were wondering. Oh, and I broke a nail. But at least I got to wear snazzy shoes.

    I really like your whole outfit!
    I would love to try colored jeans, but I'm pretty sure I'd look even more like a 12 year old then I already do!

    I think the up close "akward" headband shot is my fav. Love those green jeans. I got some vintage blue ones at Gap that I am love-in! Yall seem like you have so much fun together---love it!

    I love that you think outside the box and pair unlikely colors together...I would have never though purple and green, but it really works! :)

    P.S. We went bowling when I was in CA last month and I did horribly. I barely bowled a 65. You think I'm kidding... ;)

    I don't know why, but that sentence about taking an awkward shot of your headband cracked me up!

    I've come to realize in the last couple weeks (after 15 yrs with my guy) that it really is true that men and women have really different ideas of what "looks good"! I always ask him about what I'm wearing, hair styles, etc. and if he says, "Eh...it's not my favorite." and I ask my sister, she'll love it. Every time. Hmm...and yet I still keep asking him! Ha!

    I agree, I think I might become obsessed with colored jeans too. I saw a pair very similar to the ones you have on at Macy's this weekend and I think I'm going to back to purchase them ASAP.
