a 4moms review and Mamaroo giveaway!
Over the course of my past six years blogging, I've had the opportunity to work with close to one hundred small businesses and companies. And by far, one of the most generous and fun to work with is 4Moms. I love that they donate so many of their unique rockers to NICUs around the country, and this month, they are celebrating the new Mamaroo rocker with giveaways every day. I'm super excited to team up with them today to give a Mamaroo away to one of you! You've probably seen their stylish and techy baby gadgets around the blogosphere-- they're smart, gorgeous, and babies and parents everywhere are loving them. And the Wilkins fam is on board-- their products are a major hit at our house.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
When Silas was an infant, he barely slept all day, and all night. I'm tired now just thinking about it. Practically the only thing that would get him to sleep would be his bouncer, which I had to rock with my foot. He liked to rock hard and would start stirring as soon as I even hinted at slowing down. I'd stand at the kitchen counter and rock, sit on the couch and rock, paint at my desk and rock. All day. Erry day. I would have killed for something like the Mamaroo.
Thankfully Delia is a much better sleeper, and an easier baby all around. But my arms still get rubbery if I try to hold her all day, and she likes motion just as much as Silas did. To the rescue comes the new Mamaroo (or as Silas says, the "Mommy-woo".) Sleek, gorgeous, and versatile, it's where you'll find Delia during the day, unless she's in my arms or playing on the floor. It's tucked in next to our couch, between the living room and dining room, where D can keep an eye on all the happenings.
The new Mamaroo has five different motions, with varying speeds, that mimic the crazy mom dance (you know what I'm talking about-- I think I look like a crazy person when I'm trying to get her to calm down in my arms!). It has built-in white noise ( that's Silas' job, and he takes it pretty seriously...), and even an auxiliary cable to play your favorite Pandora lullaby station. And the coolest part? The new app (available for Android and iPhone) lets me change the motion, speed, and white noise volume all from my phone.
The Mamaroo doesn't replace me, but it gives me my arms back so I can play train tracks with Silas, fix dinner, or even just drink my coffee before it's icy cold. Silas will even tell me, "Mom, put her down, put her in the Mommy-woo!" if he needs a little bit more attention from me. I love that the Mamaroo helps me do my mom job just a little bit better.
Use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter to win a new Mamaroo!
Heading out for alone time is key...however due to mommy guilt it is certianly easier said than done! hoping i do better when number two arrives in March.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is the only one who can bounce my girl hard enough to put her to sleep, so that sucks when he's at work! She's never been a good sleeper. I'm hopeful that's a first child thing? LOL!

ReplyDeleteAdmittedly I have no idea how to cope with a newborn as I will be a first time mom in June, but I imagine that a lot of prayers is involved in staying sane with a new little babe. I plan on just taking it one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteWould love this.
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway! I'd say a hot shower!
ReplyDeleteWould love to win this for my sister! Her favorite way to stay sane is to edit her amazing photographs while Woods is resting!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has been dreaming of one of these since the last baby. Now we're two weeks out from baby #2. She NEEDS this win!
ReplyDeleteI stay sane my getting dressed everyday. Even if it's just into a new pair of PJ's!
ReplyDeleteI would agree and say even just a little bit of alone time a week can go along way. That was easier said than done for me with my first! Hoping I'll be more relaxed with my second!
ReplyDeleteI'm really not sure HOW I'll stay sane! But I definitely think having a great place like this to put one twin down while I tend to the other would help! We registered for two (girl can dream!), and I'm sorta bummed they don't come in "Momma size"!
ReplyDeleteA hot shower and leaving the kids with daddy just to go to the grocery store helps me feel human!
ReplyDeleteI've sen this when we were baby shopping! Delia looks so happy there! :)
ReplyDeleteI stay sane by getting a hot shower and drinking my morning cup of coffee! :)
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE a mamaroo. We are due w twins any day now and its high on my want list. My husband is gone w work for 12+ hours a day, up to 6 days a week and we have no family/friends close by. A place to rock one baby while I rock another would make a mamaroo my new best friend!
ReplyDeleteDaily showers are a must for me!
ReplyDeleteLove the new design upgrades!
ReplyDeleteWe have a regular swing for my 3 week old but it doesn't always do the trick. This looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteJournaling a few minutes a day really helps me. This time around has been so different since I also have a 2 year old who wants to be held & cuddled. A shower also sometimes does the trick.
ReplyDeleteWhen my son was little, I tried to get dressed every morning. Getting out of my jammies really helped me feel put together.
ReplyDeleteThis rocker seems amazing! Coffee before it's icy cold?? Say What - sign me up!
ReplyDeleteI think the best thing I've done for myself is to wake up at least one hour before the kids. Having that time to take a shower, eat my breakfast, and do a quick wake-up workout is invaluable. I also make a list of three MITs (most important tasks) for the day which help me stay focus and not so overwhelmed.
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to figure out how to be sane with my 15 week old, but walks outside in fresh air makes all the difference!
ReplyDeleteYou need time to yourself or with your hubby/friends to stay sane - even if for 5 minutes! PS- I'd love a Mamaroo for baby #2!
ReplyDeleteWould love to win a mamaroo!! They look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteExpecting #1 in March and looking for anything that'll help in those first few months. A Mamaroo would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreat Review Linds. So many products out there it can drive this new mommy here nuts!
ReplyDeleteso awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis is the coolest techy momma tool I've ever seen!!! Great review for mommas and daddys before making this purchase!! :) Thanks Linds!!
ReplyDeleteGetting out of the house is the best way for me to stay sane - even going for a walk is perfect!
ReplyDeleteCoffee... coffee.. coffee... ;)
ReplyDeleteand just getting out of the house. cause pretty much that encompasses everything - getting ready, makeup, hair did... etc.
So cool! I wonder if this would work as a basinet to help with our current not-enough-room problem.
ReplyDeleteThis is something I'm really really really hoping to get at our baby shower.
ReplyDeleteHaving the house to myself for a short bit is amazing. My husband loves to grocery shop so he takes the little monkey every Sunday afternoon so I have an hour or so to myself. Hoping it continues with number 2 in June!
ReplyDeleteMaking sure I get a shower every day and get dressed in real clothes is key for my sanity! I would so love to have one of these at my house, my two month old weighs over 15 pounds and this mama's arms are tired! B. Crispin
ReplyDeletea nice stroll around the neighborhood in the fresh air...I hate being in the house so much
ReplyDeleteIt's not always easy, but I try to wake up a bit before the babe and read a short devotion. That, prayer, and a strong cup of coffee sem to make my day smoother
ReplyDeleteI think a nice cup of coffee or tea before the babes wake up is great! A little 'me' time before 'mommy' time!
ReplyDeleteA daily shower and fresh air
ReplyDeleteThis would great for my brother and sister in law! What a cool and great product!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had many accessories when it came to helping/soothing the kiddos...this would be a wonderful addition!!:)
ReplyDeleteI don't know yet, I haven't gotten to that point yet, it is still the husband and our two cats. :)
ReplyDeleteLast time I survived by having my mom stay with us. I have no idea what I will do this time!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a newborn…yet! Baby boy is arriving in May and this is high on my want list! Both my sister-in-law and cousin have one for their littles and love them!
ReplyDeleteCoffee and comfy maxi skirts to fit around the mommy love handles.
ReplyDeleteJust a quick hairstyle that makes is so it looks like I actually got ready in the morning.
ReplyDeleteHaving my coffee and some alone time before the kids get up and when they are napping!
ReplyDeleteWho wants to do anything to feel human over spending time with the little one? :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew about this with my first child, and I am trying to convince my husband to have another because I really want to try this and of course absolutely enjoy being a mom!
ReplyDeleteI try to leave the house with baby at least once a week. She's only three months and it's winter time so there isn't too much we can do :)
ReplyDeleteI normally just go grab lunch somewhere with the baby at a sit down diner
Uninterrupted shower followed by real clothes!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying eating out with my hubby while the baby still sleeps a ton
ReplyDeleteI will find out in April! Your blog post made me so excited to meet my little guy! I will definitely enjoy all those precious moments!

ReplyDeleteThe newest addition to our family loves to rock and bounce! Which I make possible with my body since we no longer have a swing or bouncer. A mamaRoo sounds amazing and would love one for our little girl!
ReplyDeleteI am currently pregnant with my first, due the beginning of May. I have heard so many amazing things about 4moms and mamaRoo it seems I really need to get one for when Baby K gets here.
ReplyDeleteMy son wasborn 4 years ago and I lived away from my parents when he was a newborn, so I dont know how I stayed sane...my next baby is due in february and I know relying on their help will make a major difference
ReplyDeleteTaking an uniterrupted hot shower when my husband gets home from work
ReplyDeleteTaking a solo trip to the grocery store. Exciting stuff, I know ;)
ReplyDeleteGoing for a walk! Daddy and baby can come too, it's just nice to get some fresh air! Unless it's winter, then coffee. :-)
ReplyDeleteA hot shower or alone time to crochet and loads of prayers kept me sane. Also my husband helping the best he could after he came home from work was such a blessing!
ReplyDeletemy baby is two months now and all wehave is a swing, with lots of clicks and other noises. Would love to get a mamaroo
ReplyDeleteCoffee :)
ReplyDeleteGetting to take a long shower after my husband gets home from work helps keep me sane. Would love to have the time to blow dry my hair and feel human again.
ReplyDeletesleeping when the baby sleeps is a key! :]
ReplyDeleteI would love to have one of these! My daughter wants to be held ALL the time and cries when I put her down. I have a 3 year old son and I feel like such a bad mom because I am not able to give him the one on one attention he deserves. He asks to play and I'll put my daughter down and she cries. So I pick her up and he says, "put her down, please!" It breaks my heart.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this for my sweet baby, due in June! It would be great to have the ability to crochet more cuteness for the little one after he or she arrives!
ReplyDeleteI'm having twins in April. A Mamaroo would be the greatest gift!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have one of these for my next baby. My daughter loved her swing, but even that only had one motion. She would have loved to mamaroo!
ReplyDeleteA nice hot Starbucks coffee, taking a shower and putting on makeup even if I just get right back dressed in my pjs :)
ReplyDelete10 ,minutes if me time and a cup of coffee in hand... I can tackle the world!
ReplyDeleteCoffee and an amazing supporting husband! :)
ReplyDeleteI like to carry them in the carrier when all else fails!
ReplyDeleteTaking a shower and taking the time to do my hair and makeup. Makes such a difference!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely when I can put on lipstick I feel like a new person
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet had the joys and hassles of a newborn, but remembering how long we tried and longed for this child might do it. : )
ReplyDeletePregnant with baby #2 due on Valentine's Day and this time around I am gonna make it a point to have a date night with my hubby. Even if it means just a glass of wine after the girls go to bed :)
ReplyDeleteI am the happiest person alive when I have a baby in my house. I can not wait to meet the little stranger my daughter is going to gift us with in Feb..
ReplyDeleteGetting up before my girls, taking a shower and reading my Bible helps me stay sane! Not exactly sure how I'll do it once my twins are born, but we can cross that bridge when we get there! ;)
ReplyDeleteFor my sanity, I need to get out of the house by myself for a couple of hours each week.
ReplyDeleteI would love this MUST HAVE mamaroo!!! I have read so many wonderful things about the mamaroo!! We would love to have one for our little dude who is expected in March!! :)
ReplyDeleteMaking time for my husband and my toddler, as well as myself.
ReplyDeleteHaving a great breakfast and taking a nice shower or bath
ReplyDeleteWhat trying keeps me sane when having newborns at home is being able to take a shower longer than 10 minutes, being able to have some hot coffee while the coffee is still hot, being able to have an adult conversation with someone other than my 7 & 2 year old, and maybe just maybe putting on some make up and taking selfies with my 2 kids and our newest addition! We all know we LOVE & we are all guilty of taking tons of pictures of our kids when our babies are so tiny!
ReplyDeleteShowering! I feel like a new woman and I'm able to function for the rest of the day! I hope it does the same trick When baby #2 comes along in three short months!
ReplyDeleteI'm a stay at home mom, so I make a point of going grocery shopping by myself. It is pretty much my only alone time.
ReplyDeletehaving alone time!! and a glass of wine!
ReplyDeleteHaving my mom over do that I can take a nice leisurely hot shower helps save my sanity! Relaxing is also good for my milk supply.
ReplyDeleteHeading out for some alone time on the weekends!
ReplyDeleteMy littlest is 3 months old and does not like to sleep in the day, so we drive and I listen to podcasts while he sleep
ReplyDeleteTaking turns napping and showering. He cooks, I clean. I go to work for a few hours while he babysits then he goes to work for a few hours while I babysit. When she is upset we take turns going through trial and error to determine what's upsetting her. Having a good father to my child who is willing to work just as hard as I do...that's enough to keep me sane.
ReplyDeleteGetting out by myself helps- even if it's just running to the grocery store! And buying non-maternity pants for the first several pp months. :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter says she is lucky to live in the same city as us so that "Nana" can help out and give her a break when needed with my new grandson! I'm happy to do so!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say a hot bath and a glass of wine. I try and do it at least once a week. I seem to be ok so far.
ReplyDeleteTake mommy time outs.
ReplyDeleteIm getting ready for number 2 to arrive in March, and I think this time around, some extra coffee and some quiet baths will help keep me sane!
ReplyDeleteGoing to the store alone and the occasional glass of wine :)
ReplyDeleteMy mother living close by is such a blessing. She comes over in the morning and takes my 7 year old to school and then comes back and watches the baby for me so that I can relax and take my time taking a hot shower. I don't have to rush and I get enjoy the hot water.
ReplyDeleteI wear my baby as much as I can. Happy baby, happy me!
ReplyDeleteI stay sane by getting some exercise and alone time early in the morning before everyone else wakes up. Showering and having my coffee before they rise is a must as well!
ReplyDeleteI don't get to do anything to feel human, I just take a bath and ask my husband what he and our son are doing the whole time if I don't hear normal happy baby playing noises which normally means my husband is reading twitter and my son is throwing a fit
ReplyDeleteShowering and getting dressed in something clean...that's how I (try to) stay sane with a newborn!
ReplyDeleteA shower longer than 5 minutes
ReplyDeleteFirst time mom in just a few short months! I'm getting some great tips here, though! :)
ReplyDeleteMake sure to let daddy have some time with the baby, and then enjoy those free moments!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to eat lunch at lunch time....or any meal at an appropriate time....and a bath.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I'll stay sane with a new little one in the house and my 9 year old daughter, but I know she'll be a ton of help... and I'll find out in a few months!
ReplyDeleteI think that playing some music while with the baby will help. Since I am not pregnant nor a mom yet, though soon, I can´t really tell, but music always brings me back to my feed and sanity, so, that would probably work.
ReplyDeleteA hot shower is what I need to stay sane!
ReplyDeleteHaving a little alone-time is my top priority! Whether at home (with someone else caring for the baby) or out of the house, that makes all the difference for me!
ReplyDeleteIt's been 4 years since we've had a newborn in the house, so it will be a refresher course in March when Baby Boy #2 arrives. My favorite way to stay sane with a newborn in the house is to welcome the help of my mom, who is also a NICU nurse... hubby and I welcome her help... truly the best!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this giveaway! With my little one coming in 6 weeks, this would be awesome to have on hand for those moments I hear about where you just want a hot shower or 5 minutes to breathe...!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how I'll cope once our little peanut comes. I'm a PICU nurse and am somewhat used to crying fussy babies. However those aren't my babies and I get to go home to peace & quiet after 12 hours. I'm a little worried about my sanity. My girlfriends all swear by the mamaRoo though. My work has them for the more stable babies and I do love them when I get to use them. Sadly, not enough of my patients are stable enough to leave their hospital beds. Thank you for this opportunity!!
ReplyDeleteLove how you describe the Mamaroo!
ReplyDeleteI play videogames
ReplyDeleteFor me taking a nap always help, especially if your baby is sleeping. I have a beautiful toddler and I'm expecting twins. That means more work and less time to rest but I would definitely try some of these amazing moms tips.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win so that I can have my hands free every now and then to play with my other two children!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to stay sane with a newborn in the house is enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee, which obviously doesn't happen often enough :)
ReplyDeleteBeing able go shower every day
ReplyDeleteReading a book once the littles are in bed, getting a hot shower, wearing heels and not having to carry a kid or just an early morning uninturpted cup of hot coffee before the kiddos wake.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as doc releases me to exercise my release is Zumba for an hour a day with my amazing Zumba Crew!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I watch movies on the DVR to stay sane, now that we have a 6 wee
ReplyDeleteReading a good book once the baby is asleep. I learning to take more time for myself though. Like get to the gym. It that damn mom guilt from working full time that keep me from taking more time for myself!
ReplyDeleteA nice hot shower!
ReplyDeleteVery soon sanity will escape me. Having my baby soon
ReplyDeleteGetting out for some alone time, even if it's only 15 minutes!
ReplyDeleteAlso my instance account is a different email. I'm following both under @ reebue

A morning cup of coffee and a quick hot shower can really recharge a mom!
ReplyDeleteLOTS of coffee {especially if someone brings me starbucks} and going to take a nap while my husband watches the babe {usually at night or on a weekend!}
ReplyDeleteI got to the groceries once a week. Its always quick, since Im breastfeeding, but its amazing how it keeps me sane!
ReplyDeleteIf I can just do a quick run to the grocery store by myself or something similar, it helps me re-energize.
ReplyDeletei am currently pregnant with my first baby but the way i keep sane now is by taking nice long baths.
ReplyDeleteGoing for a run early in the morning
ReplyDeleteI wake up earlier then everyone else in the house. It's the only time I get to myself. Sometimes I watch Tv sometimes and I just sit and think and sometimes I enjoy a hot cup of tea and just enjoy the sunset. I don't get to do this everyday but I make a point to squeeze it in once a week.
ReplyDelete*sunrise hee hee
DeleteHaving some coffee and "me time".
ReplyDeleteHot coffee, a bit of alone/quiet time... I'm going to be right back into these newborn days anytime now, so it's a good reminder for my priorities! :)
ReplyDeleteA 20 miute hot shower in the evening!
ReplyDeleteI could be totally sleep deprived, starving and beyond exhausted, but i find my sane moment once i get my little guy to sleep which can sometimes take hours, i find my sane moment while holding him in my arms, watching him smile in his sleep. Its all worth the insanity for that one of many blissful moments. -Angela Lugo
ReplyDeleteIts hard to make time, but I try to take a little time for myself to either walk/run, yoga or meditation.
ReplyDeleteNaps and coffee!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, the newborn stage is one of my most favorite and treasured times. It's difficult, it feels like the hours are crazy and the needs are endless...but there's something about their vulnerability, their complete adoration and want for their mama, and being such an intricate and important part of their transition from womb to world that is just amazing. My best coping skill has always been to go with baby's flow and accept that it's only for a season. Admittedly Im a bit nervous this time around; I already have 3 ages 10 and under and I'm a little worried about keeping up with the current needs of the family while introducing a new baby to the mix. But, being a mom is one lf those things you just do. How we do it? I don't know, lol...but we just do. Something like a mamaroo is such a blessing because our hands seem tied nearly constantly.
ReplyDeleteI too have and older child who us 5. Our new daughter is going to be born any day now. I would love to win the Mamaroo so when the baby is born, I can have a comfortable place to put her. Also, it so beneficial because my oldest daughter may need some extra attention
ReplyDeleteI never really got alone time as my husband worked all the time and I'm a SAHM without a car. Sleep time is my favorite because it's quiet and I can hurry and get some stuff done without a little "helper". lol
ReplyDeleteI would give myself a time out to take a breather relax and try again
ReplyDeleteGo out with the baby and not get cooped up in the 4 walls
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! This would be so helpful to be able to get away for a second and take a quick shower or finish something up! What a great product!
ReplyDeleteI don't yet have the secrets to staying sane with a newborn in the house, but hopefully I'll discover some once our first arrives in March! I'm sure a Mamaroo would come in handy though!
ReplyDeleteDrinking a coffee
ReplyDeleteThere's a way to stay sane!?!? With my last son, I has a cup of coffee every mornin and 1time a week I went out for an espresso martini(just one because of pumping!) but it was delightful!!! I put one nice clothes, did my hair and got that yummy martini. With two little boys about to be in the house, I hope I have time for these little tasty treats!!!
ReplyDeleteA hot shower! Oh my goodness! A peaceful, hot shower goes a long way!
ReplyDeleteMy little one isn't due until March so I have yet to experience it but I plan on keeping my sanity by accepting the help of others, I will learn it's okay to say yes you can watch her while I take a shower, eat, or sleep.
ReplyDeletea nice shower and a cup of coffee!
ReplyDeleteMy husband Adam and I stay sane by going out on a date night at least once a week and usually on a Wednesday. My mother in law is the best when we need that night off and she watches our little guy!
ReplyDeleteWould love to win this for my second due in August!
ReplyDeletea glass of wine after baby has gone to sleep!
ReplyDeleteI have a newborn and a 5-year-old, so my level of sanity is debatable at the moment, but I know taking a nice long, hot shower without interruptions helps me feel just a bit more normal :)
ReplyDeleteI try to get out at least once a day! For a walk, to the store, anything!
ReplyDeleteI stay sane with a newborn by knowing my limits, and knowing when I need to ask for help. Luckily, I have a very helpful husband who did amazing with the first two, and I know will do amazing with this new one.
ReplyDeleteprobably just taking a shower!!
ReplyDeleteCoffee...lots of coffee. And babywearing. Keeps baby happy and my hands free!
ReplyDeleteMy first baby is due this March so I'm not sure!! I bet having my husband take over for a while so I can nap or shower will keep me sane ;) xo jillian
ReplyDeleteI try to get up just a little bit earlier and then take a nap when they do or ask for help
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to stay sane with a newborn is to PRAY! A lot :) haha!
ReplyDeleteTake naps!
ReplyDeleteWhile on maternity leave, my commitment was to shower at least every other day. If I could accomplish that, I felt pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI take cat naps just like the baby
ReplyDeleteFinding time for a shower
ReplyDeleteI take a deep breathe and compose myself a bit before approaching the newborn again. When the hubby comes home from work I give him the baby and take a longgggg shower
ReplyDeleteHaving a wonderful support system helps a lot.
ReplyDeleteI have two nieces due in the very near future, one niece that just adopted a baby boy, and have a 2 month old grandson who I feel all need a MamaRoo! I love all the features that willl help new Mommy's & Daddy's life easier!
ReplyDeletei don't have a newborn yet, but my friend will soon have one and I would love to win for her
ReplyDeleteCurling up in a corner while baby is napping a reading my favorite book! Im due 9/5 with my third and all these comments have been so helpful! Thanks Ladies!!
ReplyDeleteLO isn't here yet so don't have personal experience yet, but my guess is having a nice hot shower since that has always helped me feel better.
ReplyDeleteSleep! I Try to take a nap when day gets home before all the other kids get home from school.
ReplyDeleteA nice hot shower helps me feel sane! I feel a lot more accomplished when at the end of the day I actually got out of my pajamas...even if it was for only 4-5 hours. :) -Kimi
ReplyDeleteIn February we will finally have our newborn, but I imagine finding time to take my dogs fire a walk and finding time to exercise will be wonderful. I miss being mobile!
ReplyDeleteTaking about 30 minutes to yourself everyday is seriously everything -- even if its just time alone in the bathroom after a shower. I have a two month old and a five year old -- trust me, it gets wacky!!
ReplyDeleteFor me it was just making sure I showered alone every day
ReplyDeleteI stayed sane by putting off chores! If I was tired and baby was napping, I napped too. The chores will be there when I'm less sleepy!
ReplyDeleteAs this is my third time around the newborn bend, the only thing that keeps me sane and feel like a lady is my morning ritual of putting on makeup and bible time!
ReplyDeleteHaving a supportive husband who is home most days makes the newborn phase so much easier.
ReplyDeleteI have a new baby coming in May and would love an extra set of (mamaroo) arms :-)
ReplyDeleteHot shower and a nap
ReplyDeleteHi, what I learned from having my first baby is to nap when the baby napped, might not be everytime she napped, but I would definitely take advantage of a nap when I could. I would get ready everyday even if I wasn't going anywhere, not all dolled up, but I would shower and get ready for the day. The last thing I enjoyed was getting out for a walk everyday
ReplyDeletea hot shower, putting on real clothes and a little makeup!
ReplyDeleteExpecting number 5, the third under 4! This mama appreciates the stolen moments, shower, dinner, peeing!
ReplyDeleteI take baths. I love them! I also journal which helps put everything into perspective and it's fun to look back too.
ReplyDeleteBaby wearing keeps me sane!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a newborn... yet. But all of these tips are helping me prepare! ;)
ReplyDeleteI will schedule a hair cut/color and mani/pedi shortly after my baby is born so I'm forced to take a break.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a hot shower, a pedicure every now and then and a warm cup of coffee!
ReplyDeleteBaby wearing!
ReplyDeleteA nice shower! Helps feel refreshed and energized!
ReplyDeleteCoffee. Coffee. And a daily walk around the neighborhood wit our little family, pup included of course.
ReplyDeleteI stay sane by working out in the morning to start my day off right.
ReplyDelete
